Halloween Poem

Halloween is the best part of the year
I love all the candy
But it also brings fear
but thecandy can be handy.

The fears bring tears
But when i get home
Its the end of the year
When the candies rome

What i hate the most
is when its almost over
And when i get older
all te funs lost
So until then all the candies mine!

Halloween i great
Because of our costumes
Cause not everyone is real
And the masks with all the fumes.

Halloween Poem

Is There Anything Wrong Tonight?
Feel the cold touch of Halloween, and the breath of autumn's night.
See the difference this time brings and notice what's wrong or right.
Are there any strange auras that you are feeling, or something that seems odd?
Standing under the dark blue sky, the stars stretch far abroad.

Don't be too happy recieving treats; you never know what might go wrong.
As the shadows dance across the yard; the cold wind sings its song.
Spy glowing eyes behind your back, who is stalking you?
Look around and watch your step, are ghost stories really true?

Do the dead rise from their grave, and walk the Earth once more?
Well this is the night you must discover what Halloween's really for.
Recieving candies from strangers, and being out with your friends?
Or experiencing visits from the dead, whos lives have already end.

All I'm saying is be careful, and observe if costumes are real.
Might as well be a real creature, searching for it's next meal.

Once the witch's brew is stirred, and bats have flown past the moon,
Halloween has begun, and prepare for what's to come soon.

So go ahead, go out, and have a bunch of fun.
But as soon as the trick-or-treating, with your friends have just begun,
Look behind you and listen, for those faint footsteps of the walking dead,
Real? Or are you paranoid..and it's all just in your head?

When you go to bed keep one eye open, and hug your pillow tight,
You'll never know what horrendous things you might dream of tonight.
Don't be scared, it's just your imagination getting through your brain,
The candy is just as pleasing enough to take away the pain.

Have a Happy Halloween ;)

Halloween Poem

                                                 Halloween Poem

                                 Halloween might be scary.
But you get a lot of candy.
                                     One girl is sad.
Her trick or treating gone bad.

I see a guy with out ears.
The scary guy gave me fears.
                                      Trick or treating is fun.
When you go with friends and mom.

Witches and vampires lurking in the dark.
I can hear a dog bark.
                                   Ghost and mimes running wild.
                                         It will blow your mind
.

halloween poem

   Halloween
Halloween is once a year,
I've never seen someone dress like a deer.
You always go dressed up,
You go to houses to get candies and lollipops.

You go trick or treating in the night,
There's no point going in the bright.
You go from door to door,
They give you candy and if they know you even more.

There are houses with lights out,
There's nobody there, I doubt.
My friend thought that he saw a ghost,
But it was really a post.

When I go to my house,
If you don't hide your candy you'll get a mouse.
Look I have a stash of candy,
Doesn't it look so dandy?!

Halloween Poem

Halloween only comes once a year,

And this is when all the little kids cheer.
We all dress up that night,
And we will possibly get a fright.

All of us go from door to door,

Collecting even more candy than before.

I always get a lot of candy,
Which I think is quite dandy.

While I'm out I see many spooky things on the street,

There are creepy ghosts and scary spiders, which I think is really neat.

When our feet get tired we know we are done,
Even though it is over, i sure had fun!

When our night is done, we are all tired,

Now there is only one thing that we desire.
To go and rest in our bed,
So that we can lay down our heads.

HALLOWEEN POEM

It's a dark night and the wind blows
You feel somebody is there
Your a little frighten and nobody knows
What if something happed no one would hear

I'm getting curious to get home
I don't think i'm going to make the night
I'm probably all alone
There's not a person in sight

In a couple more minutes i'm going to cry
Now i'm thinking about what i'm sorry for
Anyone just please walk by
I'll do anything to get out of here and more

I think i'm going to break down
Wait I see a glimmer of light
Now I have an up side down frown
I start running with all my might

I open the door to what do I find
All my friend's an family waiting for me
I'm here now wanting me and my family to bind
Did you get here fine , I said yeah it was a cup of tea

HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)

Halloween Poem

Halloween Poem

Halloween is a time when it is very scary,
You see the bright stars and the big white moon.
Kids dress up as skeletons and monsters that are hairy,
Knowing that Halloween will be here soon.

Halloween is a time when kids have fun,
Kids go trick or treating and get lots of candy.
They get treats like chocolates, chips and gum,
After they're done they feel very dandy.

Some kids get candy that are gone bad,
Parents get mad and throw them out.
The kids start to whine and feel sad,
Then parents get mad so they scream and shout.

Kids feel tired after they're done trick or treating,
Some kids count their candy and take a seat.
Kids that get a little candy start weeping,
So they cool themselves down and listen to a beat.

Different things happen to kids on Halloween,
But hopefully they don't pass by a black cat.
It could be good, bad or somewhere in between,
But remember there's going to be lots of bats.

Halloween poem

On Halloween night
You will get a big fright.
So don't go alone
Because ghosts are on prone.
Let's hope they don't throw bats
I'm sure they're fat.
There are all kinds of thing
That they may fling.
They will taunt you
And they will haunt you.
Until you scream
But it was all just a dream.
That is what Halloween night is
But it will be true tonight.
Just have fun and go out
And just don't cry and pout.
Go back home
And eat your candy alone.
I hope you had fun!
BOO! RUN!

Halloween Poem

On Halloween the moon is very bright,
We go trick-or treating and it shines in the night.
People have run along and avoided the point,
Why at the end of the day you might be missing a joint.

When you go trick-or-treating you see spooky homes,
Sometimes you might even see some domes.
There are lots of bugs, bats, ghosts and more,
Be careful they might fly at you when you open the door.

People say bats will go for your hair,
A very high chance it will give you a scare.
When you read this you probably have some doubts,
But the next day people will want to know your whereabouts.

In there, nobody can hear you scream,
But from the house they might see a beam.
People will sit there to scare you silly,
The area will not be sunny and hilly.

When you go trick-or-treating you will get lots of candy,
If you eat it in all one night your teeth will not be dandy.
You might have nightmares when the event is done,
But overall a Halloween experience is fun!

Halloween Poem

                 Halloween Poem
When I go to Halloween,
You'll see Frankenstein in his house.
The neighbors are very mean,
They scared us with a mouse.
Pumpkins on every front door,
Zombies stalking you every where you go,
You hear creaks from your floor.
And fill the wind chill blow
The witches are flying in the air
The vampires drinking all the blood
The boogieman met up with a bear
And the mummy tripped and fell in the mud.
Kids are getting a lot of treats
Some of them are getting braces
The rich kids get all the sweets
They're smudging all their faces.
Some people call it Hallow's Eve
The others think it's not a holiday
After midnight children leave
With a bag full of candy YAY!

Halloween Poem

Trick-or-Treat

Children are excited for October 31st,
Dressing up and having so much fun.
Imagining so much candy in their bags,
As they leave when there is no sun.

They left the house to trick-or-treat, of course,
And they run to the first door they see.
It is spooky and they are awfully scared,
But they remember strong is what they should be.

Ringing the doorbell was their next mission,
Covered in webs it was.
All the children refused to ring the bell,
Their reason was "just because".

As they stood before the door, thinking of what to do,
One courageous child said "I'll go".
He walked slowly to the door to ring the bell,
For bravery he was trying to show.

The door creaked open and they stood in disbelief,
What they saw cut their worries in half.
It was an old granny and that was all,
And the children tried hard to stifle a laugh.

Halloween poem

Every year, I fall off my bed.
It's a short fall, yet it hurts my head.

The reason I fall? I was scared.
Right before that, I had a nightmare.

Guys with swords! My dog can fly?!
Now, in my bed, I no longer lie.

Stuff like this could only mean
that soon it will be Halloween.

Halloween Poem

We see all the different changing leaves,
And we all know what's coming near.
We see all the decor on different lawns,
And what we have been waiting for is finally here.
It's halloween of course!
With spinechilling ghosts.
And green skinned zombies,
If you touch them you'll be toast.
The makeup is fang-tastic!
Especially if you're a vampire.
You get to play a starring role,
And get to wear the proper attire.
But all Halloween costumes,
are really, really neat.
And I end this Halloween poem by saying
TRICK-OR-TREAT!

halloween poem

Halloween
Witches and warlocks come out for this night
Hoping to give everyone a good fright.
Spooky black are lurking around town
And someone dressed as an evil clown.

Children in costumes of all different sorts
Little witches with big ugly warts.
There are children dressed as monsters, ghosts, and ghouls
Once in a while you see a royal fool.

On Halloween we all want candy
Ones that are delicious, sugary, and dandy.
Kids don't want a fall wreath,
They want candy that will rot their teeth.

On Halloween there is always the scariest house
So scary you'll be terrified of  even a little mouse.
Some may think scary jokes are fun,
But some will make you want to run.

Some stories you hear might be scary
And some costumes you see may be hairy.
You may think Halloween night has no fright,
But let me tell you your not right.

Halloween poem!
Halloween is a time of trick or treating for chocolate and lots of candy,
Yeah you'd think that's all fine and dandy.
But that's not the problem; the problem is all the ghosts goblins and ghouls,
The only reason they're there is to make us look like fools.

I guess that's why they call it trick or treating, they trick us and that's they're treat,
It's just like watching a comedy film and they have the front row seat.
You'd think you know by now,
But as soon as you approach that door all you can say is…WOW

It gets really annoying after all those years,
Especially the first time, when you felt all those tears.
Well you live and you learn,
What you're going to learn is that if you don't act scared, you don't get your days earn.

I've also learned that the more scared you act,
the bigger the impact.
I f you talk a lot about your brand new suit,
You're surely to get most of the loot!

To me Halloween is misunderstood,
That's why I don't get a lot of candy, but maybe you could.
If Halloween is one if those "If you dares"
The best thing to do is stay at dayscare…I mean day care!

Halloween Poem

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is a time for people to trick-or-treat at night,
Anyone could get scared so watch out and look left or right.
Someone could just come out of no where at you,
Without even knowing, you'll have no clue.

There could be a ghost here or there,
But you won't find it anywhere.
You will always hear this or that,
You'll never know it might just be a bat.

If you look at the moon you might see a witch,
You can get so terrified and start to twitch.
By the way, if you go to a house that fills up your candy sac,
You will end up wanting to really go back.

So have a fun night,
Don't be such a fright
And to finish my scene,
I would like to say HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Awful Halloween- Christina Z

The Most Awful Halloween

It was October 31st,    when I was about six years old.  I was dressed up in my Barbie princess costume and I had my golden crown placed upon my royal head.  I was also wearing my matching Barbie princess shoes because I knew I wouldn't be able to pull off my fabulous outfit with out them. My sister was upstairs acting out Dracula phrases and playing with her lengthy cape that had a satiny sheen to it.  My brother was making different and unusual arm motions, attempting to be ninja!  I didn't want to break the news to him that it wasn't working out so I let him continue with his nonsense!  While my siblings were trying to play the part of their costumes, I sprinted upstairs to retrieve my princess bag.  I was anticipating my bag would be full when I returned home. I was looking forward to the tootsie rolls, the Oh Henry bars and the sour delights that I couldn't wait for to explode in my mouth!
We set out on our journey. It was a dim autumn night and I could smell the snow in the crisp, fall breeze.  It was a quiet night not many people were out, the roads were serene.  There were about 20 houses that gave us many scrumptious delights.  The houses were ornately decorated; there were flashing lights and creepy scenes.  At several houses there were fake dummies that had fake blood everywhere and some heads emerging from the ground, the props seemed frightening.  The night was coming to an end.  What a great, successful night!!  My arms were hanging on by a thread the bag was so full.  I was hobbling along in my noisy clanking, stylin' Barbie shoes that all the other kids on my block wanted, but couldn't have.  I was relieved that we were coming to the end of our excursion, my legs were rubber.   It was our final house of Halloween night, my siblings and I walked up the broad driveway, ready to fall asleep.  We drowsily walked up the steps while my mom waited at the end of the driveway.  At the front window, the light from the television was illuminating off the curtains onto the porch.  I rang the doorbell, the person sitting on the couch watching T.V, got up from his seat, and then came to bring the goodies.  Through the screen door I could see the silhouette of the man coming to the door. The bald- headed man opened the door and gave a friendly smile.  My siblings and I grinned cutely.  The man dropped the delights into my sibling's bags and last but not least it he came over to me, he was about to drop the candies into my bag when, a giant golden retriever jumps from the screen door!!!!!  RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! The dog came over, I could imagine myself screaming so loud the dead could hear me, and slobbered/bit my hand.  At one point my whole hand was in the dog's mouth.  I was traumatized and almost lost my hand!  Seriously, it was nothing severe it just really, really   grossed me out!  To this day I have never liked animals with teeth, not even Chihuahuas.
That is an event I will never forget, that was my WORST Halloween yet.

My best Halloween would probably have to be last year. I would have to say last years because, I went with my friends instead if my little sister Alexa. So instead of going with her I went with my friends Colin, Matthew, Marcel and Sean (I think).
We all gathered at Colin's house before we left, so we would know who was with us. When we were all there we left to go trick or treating (hopping to get lots of candy). I thought of this as a candy filled journey. As we were on this journey I started to get a little bored so I decided to go to all the houses and say "hi I'm a people's person". The people at the doors probably thought I was really dumb for saying that but whatever.
We all ended the journey with a lot of candy, chips, chocolate etc... About half way through my bag got to full so I had to get a second bag just so I could fit all the candy in. I'm pretty sure that I was the only one that got a second bag but Marcel might have also got one.
After we finished getting all our candy and when we were done having fun on the streets, we all went back to Colin's house and played some Xbox. Since there was about 5-6 of us there we had to take turns. So it took a little bit too finally play. But then when some of the kids started to leave we got more time to play because we didn't have to take turns anymore.
But then I eventually had to leave too. But it was okay cause on that Halloween night I had a lot of fun with my friends!
And that has been my favourite Halloween! Well so far anyway.

Halloween Story

THE WORST HALLOWEEN EVER

When I was 3 years old I had the worst Halloween ever! First of all, I was dressed up as an M&M chocolate. (How embarrassing is that?) My older brother was dressed up as Saw, and every time I looked at him, I cried. My mom wanted to take a picture of us and right when she was about to take it, I looked up at my brother and cried.
As we were leaving to go trick or treating, I tripped over my brother and fell. He started laughing at me, so for a while I was grabbing on to his foot. Then suddenly, he ended up falling. It was weird because my mom had told me that when he fell, I started laughing and crying at the same time. I must have been a weird baby.
Later on, as we came upon a spooky house, my brother walked up to it and took me with him. I was extremely terrified, that I made a little surprise in my diaper. I screamed so loud that you couldn't even believe it. As my brother took me back to my mom, he slowly went up to the door of this house and rang the door bell. The owners of the house opened the door very slowly then popped out and terrified my brother. It must have been very embarrassing.
Then the very last house we went to ended up being my aunt's house, but I never knew.
So as we all went to the door we yelled trick-or-treat and as my aunt answered the door she picked me up and took me inside then shut the door. I was crying so much I almost made a puddle the distance around an elephant. After my aunt realized how much I was crying she brought me back to my mom and as we opened the door no one was there. I had no idea what to do so I just fell to the ground crying. My aunt felt so bad so she called my mom and told her to come back and pick me up, they tried to pull a prank on me, but it didn't turn out too well.
As I got home my brother was laughing so much I ended up biting his arm, although it didn't hurt him.
Anyways, so that was my worst Halloween that I will never forget.
