"THE NEST"

This story reminds me of the time when I asked my mom if I could go to the mall with my friend but she said no. I felt said and upset because I promise my friend that I would go. It was also his birthday. Then when I told my friend about it, he felt upset and sad as well .. Everyone that he invited to come did not have permission from their parents to go. I felt so sorry for him that as soon as my parents left I went to the mall with my friend. I went to the mall with my friend because sometimes disobeying an order could be the right thing to do. Even though my mom said I wasn't allowed to go that didn't stop me from not thinking about how my friend felt. I should be thankful that I have friends, because not everybody in the world has friends. I also went to the mall with my friend because I wanted my friend to know that I am ALWAYS there for him no matter how tough times could be. And who would want a birthday party without ANYONE of your friends attending ? I would be really sad if no one attended my birthday party .

When I arrived home I realized that I had 23 missed calls on my cellphone. My mom came back from work a couple more minutes later. She gave me a LONG lecture about 'Safety' After the lecture I explained why I went, my mother understood why. Just how Jimmy's mom understood Jimmy.

Best Halloween Ever !

Last year was the best Halloween I have ever had ! It was the best Halloween I have ever had because my cousin and I went trick-or-treating together. We went to at least 3 or 4 huge neighborhoods and i got three huge garbage bags full of candy ! We saw so many different types of costumes, a batman, a spiderman, scary monsters, and more! Last year I dressed up as a scary monster for Halloween. I wore all black and a mask with a monsters' mouth open and a tongue sticking out with blood all over it. It looked really scary. I scared so many people that day. My favorite part about that Halloween was when I scared my mom. When i came home i asked my father, "where is mom ?" My father replied, "She is upstairs sleeping." So I tip-toed upstairs to her room, with my scary Halloween costume, mask and this plastic machette i had found in my brother's closet. I opened her door, tip-toed to her bed and tapped her twice on the shoulder, my mom opened her eyes, looked at me with a frightened face and screamed so loud ! My father came upstairs and asked what was wrong. I explained the whole thing of what happend, and after he told me to go to sleep. That was the best Halloween I have ever had !

Vincent Van Gogh

For the past couple days, I have have been studying about Vincent Van Gogh. I read a couple articles about him, researched him online and more. But i think Van Gogh was a really interesting person. I found his life story interesting as well. The part that i found most interesting, was the way he died. Vincent Van Gogh commited suicide and killed himself by walking into a wheat field and shot himself in the chest. I found this really shocking and sad because Van Gogh was a great person. He had a great passion for art, such as .. painting, drawing etc. He admired it and made almost a total of 2,000 drawings and paintings. This reminds me of the time i was reading a newspaper article and a man shot himself with a gun because somebody was making fun of him and he didn't want to be pressured or hurt anymore , so he killed himself. I think if Van Gogh got to live till this day he would have been a millionaire. Van Gogh grew a poor and sadly he didn't get to live the rest of his life rich. Vincent Van Gogh, is a person I will never forget. His life story was really sad and shocking for me. I think Vincent Van Gogh is a hero.
