Camping in the Woods

The success is any trip lies in the planning.  Remember your clearly labelled medication, sleeping bag, pillow, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, towel, winter coat, boots, lots of socks, sneakers, gloves/mitts, hats/ear muffs, warm layered clothes, pjs, skates, board games, skates and  helmet. Those with puffers or epipens, please remember them. Bring cds and dvds for movie night.
Pack smart and bring everything that you'll need!

Halloween is this Sunday. Please remember the following:
  • Stay in groups of at least 3 or 4 kids. Never go trick or treating by yourself.
  • Don't go to any homes that are not well lit and do not have front porch lights on.
  • Never go into the home or hallway of a home to get candy.
  • Don't wear dark costumes, jackets, or other clothing that cannot be seen at night.
  • Always use the intersection and never cross in the middle of the street or take a short cut through alleys.
  • Always examine the candy before eating. Make sure there are no needle points or other signs that someone has tampered with the candy and throw out any unwrapped or opened candies.
God bless! Have a great weekend and remember to leave the Halloween candy at home.
