In the story The Nest, Jimmy asks his mother if he could go on a hike with his friends. His mother refused to let him go. Even though Jimmy asked multiple times, his mother's answer was set in stone. Ignoring what his mother said, Jimmy went on the hike anyways. I can relate to Jimmy in his situation because sometimes I ask my mom if I can go on the Wii and she says no. I keep asking and asking, and then when she isn't paying attention I sneak onto the Wii. When my mom calls for me and asks what I am doing, I tell her I am playing Wii. Sometimes I use the excuse that I was helping my little sister Sydney with a game so I don't get into trouble.
Haha, nice relating of The Nest to your own situation. I found it kind of funny too. Sneaking on the Wii. I wouldn't blame you either since the Wii IS fun. Great Job!

The same thing happens when I want to play tetris on the laptop. But it was a good thing I convinced her that it was an educational game that keeps my mind going. I am a very good player but that is besides the point. Awesome blog whoever you are!
ReplyDeleteIt does suck a lot of times when parents sat "no". If I were you, I would say I'm doing my homework because then my parents would realize I'm doing something good and would let me play me game console. Overall great blog!
