I think of Van Gogh as my hero. He was an awesome dude because he didn't care if no one liked his painting, he still painted. He just kept going on, and on until he couldn't go anymore. He was very interesting because he is one of those guys who you would go on google and keep searching until you find his whole life story. Van Gogh knew he was crazy so he went to a mental hospital and checked himself in. In the time he was in there he painted over 100 paintings!! He sent a message to everyone. His message was, do what you love, no matter who tells you otherwise. Back in the day he only sold one painting for like a penny, but now his paintings are like $100,000,000!! And this is how I will end my blog with Vincent's message. Always follow your dreams.

That was a very funny yet inspirational blog. The words flows like they were meant to be put in that arrangement. It was a good way to end the blog with a quote. I love the way that it is funny yet serious at the same time. It was fun to read and enjoyable.

Marc, that was a great blog, but I found that it was taken a little unserious but it was a good because, it shows your not afraid to show how you really feel about an artist. I think you should have made it a bit longer and more opinions. But still great job Marc!
ReplyDeleteI like this blog. It is funny and inspiring. The motto of his blog is to always follow your dreams like how Van Gogh did. The blog should be a bit longer ,but it was a good blog. Good job Marc!

Haha, when I was first going to read your blog I was expecting it to be humorous! And it sure was! Whatever you do, you always find a way to make the subject funny! Inspirational and fun! Great blog Marc, and great ending to wrap it all up. I do think you could have made the blog a bit longer though. Keep it up anyway- and don't lose that sense of humor!

ReplyDeleteGood job Marc! I can't believe that back then, they wouldn't even give a cent for one of Van Gogh's paintings, but now days some people would give $100,000,000. Now that's just crazy. This was a great piece of writing.
