The Nest reflection
Text to Self
My connections to Jimmy is that during the summer I asked my mom if my cousins can come over. But she said no about a million times. The next day I got a lot of calls from them asking if they can come over, but when I got a chance to call them back they were already on their way to my house. I didn't want to say no because they had a baby sister that had a hospital check up for the whole day so i said yes anyways without a doubt in my head about what my mom said. Finally when my mom got home and when they were watching TV I ran up stairs to my mom begging her to forgive me and I was telling her about how my baby cousin had to have a check up that day. Then after she said sorry to me for not listening and she said it was fine and not to worry about it. After dinner their dad came to pick them up but after, he asked me if I wanted to watch a movie so I said yes. The day I thought would ruin my life turned out to be the greatest.

That proves that things are not always as they seem. I remember when my friend wanted to come over and I asked my mom and dad and they said no. But while my mom and dad were at work my friend just happened to stop over. We had a fun time until my mom came home from work. But it was alright she said because my friend said that he came himself instead of me inviting him. Great blog Gio!
ReplyDeleteGio, that was a great blog! I agree with Sean things are not always what they seem. It's really good that things worked out in the end. Alot of these type of things happen to me, I found out that if you act like will work they end up just happening, ...happy endings. GrEAt blog! :D
ReplyDeleteImpressive blog Gio! When I ask my mom sometimes for something, I hear this same word every time, "no." I like how you expanded on your work and added a lot of details on each event. Great blog!

Great blog Gio! I can relate in some way because when I was younger a friend wanted me to come over so I asked my mom but she said no because I had a hockey game. The next week I went to his house and everything worked out for everyone. Good details. Good job
