Halloween Poem

                 Halloween Poem
When I go to Halloween,
You'll see Frankenstein in his house.
The neighbors are very mean,
They scared us with a mouse.
Pumpkins on every front door,
Zombies stalking you every where you go,
You hear creaks from your floor.
And fill the wind chill blow
The witches are flying in the air
The vampires drinking all the blood
The boogieman met up with a bear
And the mummy tripped and fell in the mud.
Kids are getting a lot of treats
Some of them are getting braces
The rich kids get all the sweets
They're smudging all their faces.
Some people call it Hallow's Eve
The others think it's not a holiday
After midnight children leave
With a bag full of candy YAY!

  1. Awesome poem Ryan M. I like how you used the 1-3 2-4 rhyming format. One thing is you forgot to put some periods and commas. Other than that it is pretty good.

  2. Nice poem Ryan!

Creatures are every where on Halloween
    Frankenstein is one of them
He is definitely a scary person
And he is sure to cause a lot of mayhem

Every one always gets bags full of candy
And there is no reason to pout
Remember to have lots of fun
And Halloween is certainly something to cheer about! YAY!
