halloween poem

   Halloween
Halloween is once a year,
I've never seen someone dress like a deer.
You always go dressed up,
You go to houses to get candies and lollipops.

You go trick or treating in the night,
There's no point going in the bright.
You go from door to door,
They give you candy and if they know you even more.

There are houses with lights out,
There's nobody there, I doubt.
My friend thought that he saw a ghost,
But it was really a post.

When I go to my house,
If you don't hide your candy you'll get a mouse.
Look I have a stash of candy,
Doesn't it look so dandy?!

  1. Great poem Matt! I remember the time I got a superb amount of candy. Then somebody scared me and I dropped some of my good candy bars on the road but it still was not the worst. Also, when you think a ghost is a post, that is how you know you are paranoid.
