Halloween Poem

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is a time for people to trick-or-treat at night,
Anyone could get scared so watch out and look left or right.
Someone could just come out of no where at you,
Without even knowing, you'll have no clue.

There could be a ghost here or there,
But you won't find it anywhere.
You will always hear this or that,
You'll never know it might just be a bat.

If you look at the moon you might see a witch,
You can get so terrified and start to twitch.
By the way, if you go to a house that fills up your candy sac,
You will end up wanting to really go back.

So have a fun night,
Don't be such a fright
And to finish my scene,
I would like to say HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

  1. I like your poetry blog Tiffany H. I like how you rhymed the word scene and Halloween it was very clever. I think your lines should just be a little bit longer. Great blog!

  2. Great poem Tiffany, I like the way there was a certain rythem to it. I especially liked when you said, "If you look at the moon you might see a witch,
You can get so terrified and start to twitch." Imagining someone starting to twitch because they are scared is hysterical, really liked your poem.
