Van Gogh

In yesterday's class, we began to look at the paintings of Van Gogh, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso. In particular we compared two of Van Gogh's self portraits. Van Gogh is a fascinating guy ! Adam remembered that he painted the famous Starry Night. Matt recalled that he cut his own ear off. I have always been moved by the story of his life. As I study his art and life, I can see how the one (art) affects the other (life).
